I am happy to announce a new Company of Heroes modification. Company of Heroes: Eastern Front. This mod is going to completly change the Allies side from the United States to the Soviet Union. We are going to have all new allied units as well as many new axis units which will all play a vital role in the success on the Eastern Front.
Our list or units is still not complete, and several things may be taken off or changed, but our lists so far are as follows:
Vehicles
Soviet Union:
IS-2
KV-1s
T34/85
SU-76
Transport
(Katyusha)
SU-85(possibly taken off)
T-70 (this might change to the T-90 AA instead)
ZIS-2
BA-64
OT-34
ISU-152(may be changed)
Germany:
Hetzer
Panzer III
elefant or Nashorn
Infantry:
guard infantry
Smaller, better trained infantry then the Conscripts. They are given Mosin-Nagants and SVT-40 and are able to be equipped with a Bazooka, or a degtyaryov light machine gun.
Heavy MG
Standard MG team, equipped with a DS-39 heavy machine gun.
Mortar
Standard Mortar team with a M1938 mortar
Commissar
Armed with only a tokarev pistol, he is able to inspire troops to fight harder for the mother land.
Engineer
Standard engineer unit armed with Mosin-Nagants
Sniper
Standard Sniper unit equipped with a Mosin Nagant M91-30 sniper rifle
Conscripts
As the war pressed on, the need for cheap troops increased. Equipped with Mosin Nagents this large group of lightly trained citizens can be purchased at your HQ at the beginning of the game. They can also have several PPSh-41's. Upgrades from the barracks also include an RPG-43, and an F1 grenade.
The T-70 and the SU-76 may change
New infantry units will be added as well, but that list is still being worked on as well as the handheld weapons list

We are currently in need of talented modders. We are most in need of 2d artists and people who are good at general coding in Company of Herores. We will eventually need Russian, and maybe German voices. We also are in need of some people who know a lot of history about the Eastern Front in WWII, right now it looks like maybe someone who can help us with the German stuff.
