EDIT: Latest Release

New: Some small improvements, bridges are now much wider, cliffs closer and some other suggestions included except vehicles (I am sorry but this map is a gift to my friends and they are in charge of what goes on it)

Some of my (battlefield) frinds made suggestion to make only troops map. The map I am making has simple design. An island in the middle of the river and you get get to the other side is by crossing two bridges, each connection one bank of the river to the island. The island has one neutral spawn point, and both teams have two Spawns each. An all of this is happening on the northen continent of Dantooine.

looks/sounds very promising !!!

1 thing tho' im not sure about the naboo gungan face ruin things.......itl make it seem like naboo. apart from that im sure itl be quality!


ps . would it be possible to put some purple flecks of grass in the ground? not much just a bit . if youv ever played Knights of the Old Republic youl know what im talkin about . :)

You should make the rebel computer base :)

Eddi,
when texturing your cliffs try to use the rotation function you find below the tiles. If you set it to 90 then your texture won´t look so streched at the cliffs.

and cool looking terrain :-)

Neon, did google, I will try to get as close as possible, I removed gungun head, put some purple flowers, sky is purple etc. No load screns for addons. Rends, will do, thanx.

will there be real gras like endor or Naboo?
And where is the blue cloudy sky?
I loved the sky you used in the earlier images.It´s looks so fresh

esh, I am trying to make the whole thing purpleish to follow dantoine feeling, so I can swith back and forth easy...

Anyhow, happy new year to all modders, and let us have a lot of new maps in the future....

hmmm... i have always thought that purple sky and purple things in the grass would belong to Dathomir not Dantooine

Seems good to me. Just because it isn't like what has been represented before doesn't mean that some part of the planet doesn't look like that. The same way that Earth has many regions that are not similar. And besides its a very nice map that really doesn't feel like any of the previous ones.

Very nice. I also like how you've been adding the videos at the select screens on your map. My only suggestion is that with the very far back Republic/Empire spawn point, you add some speeders or something, as it can be difficult having to run that far. Otherwise, very nice. :D

Video: take couple screenshoots, run windows Movie maker, make a movie, save it, run Rad Video Tools, Smack it, put .bik in your _Source_pc/shell/movies, name it <modid>fly.bik, open mlst file, uncomment second line.

Read BFBuilder\Documentation\video.htm for more info.
