Having a graphics problem!

Hey guys. I have had these problems ever since I started up BF for the first time:

-On the left side of the screen, all water and trees overlap evrything else on the screen, making it unviewable

-Occassionally, an image of a certain point in the game "burns" itself on top of the rest of the gameplay, although slightly transparent.

I have temporarily solved the water problem by turning the water efects all the way down, but I'd like to know if theres some way to fix this so I can play the game in all its glory. After some research it sounds like it only happens to people with ATI video cards, which I have an All-In-Wonder. Can anyone help?
