Careful, though. One 50k poly model is one thing, even if it's one unit. When you're talking 30k for each unit and at least 10k for each weapon that adds up quickly. I'm not saying it wouldn't be awesome, but I really worry about stability when you're talking about everything being that high poly. Engine stability that is -- crashing, not framerate.
I totally agree with the "spirit of" thing though. I just want to play a few of the maps.

What i released was the first person models which are much higher than the third person models, now the first person textures work on the third person so if you guys want i can release them after i'm done with the last of the weapons and all the vehicles i can get out.
The 2 weapons I worked on had around 3500 and 4500 tris. But there are some for 3rd person really unnecessary details, for example tiny screws which you actually can't see ingame as they are to small.
So I think it would be good to have the 3rd person models.
I actually had 16 units running round at one point, one which was 51,000 triangles (I also tested the attachments for both Sand and Magma Troopers). The engine can take that without even so much as slowdown and zero crashes but that was for units and I have not tested weapons. Logically it should work though. I'm assuming the triangles in these weapons are somewhere in the 2000-3000 range. I will say wait for the third person models though. We'll be able to see how detailed they are.

The only phase 1 clone in the game is a phase 1 clone pilot. but the plugin atm can't import it.
I wonder if that's because they hadn't finished with the models at the time this was ported to XBox360? After all, I'd assume it's of lower priority to make unit models that will most likely be used in just one map over the ones that will be used in all of them.
Doesn't matter. Don't get your hopes up about a PC build leak. Just assume it will never happen. If it does it'll be a wonderful surprise.
But it won't happen.
That being said, let's stay on topic here. This is about assets for the game itself and not PC builds, leaks of any other kind, nor anything but just individual assets being converted.

He asked one of his friends who worked at LucasArts,I believe. He thought he would lose his job and gave it. He can't share it now, don't even think it.
