yes yes i know i make too many mods! but this one is great and will be finished soon!
it is a Rise of the empire mod! in this mod you play a stormtrooper. there will be an ingame menu and many maps to play. the first one will be a tatooine map with a big battle!!! :maulsaber:
you play as Sergeant C. Ryder, the last survivor of his squad. release today or tomorrow!

I guess the only thing you can't do (together with the other RC modders ) is to move the muzzleflash and the firepoint for the first person, no?

Anyway, can't wait to try this one out bro!

firepoint is possible! but the muzzle flash...sorry but they are connected with bones and i cant move bones!
but if you look the movies...the E-11 and rebel blasters nearly havent muzzle flashes! XD
the mod will be great! i'll describe the system:

-there is an ingame main menue for this mod. it is on the deathstar in a corridor!
-from there ou can start different missions by pressing U, I, O, P and so on!
-in the version ill release (today!) there is just an epic battle on tatooine
-in this battle you play as Sergeant C. Ryder (stormtrooper, early days of the empire)
-in other missions you'll play other soldiers. (there might be a stealth mission with silenced E-11!)

cant wait to release it! yust a few things to fix! (it is nerly BUGFREE!)

Well, what I was able to play seemed well-done. First playthrough, I just had no idea what to do besides run around and kill everybody. Unfortunately, I ran out of ammo and was stuck just running around. I restarted, then figured out that there was a tank available. I drove around in it, but still didn't have any idea what I was actually supposed to be doing. Eventually, the tank was destroyed (I think), causing the camera to zoom in on the ground. Nothing else seemed to happen (i.e., no "mission failed" screen), so I just quit the mission.

Overall, I'm impressed. From what I understand, modding for RC is a pretty difficult task, and there aren't a lot of mods out there. It's nice to see entirely new maps, so I'll be sure to follow your progress.

yes...sorry the mission briefing is in german:
your mission:
take the tank and clear the rebel camps arround your positions! when you've cleared every camp (big installations). when it is done, you can attack the main base! you have to kill every rebel on it and then leave the base beause bombers are on their way! get of the base and warch the firework!

Alright, I was on the right track then. I thought I heard some sort of VO after I wiped out the first group of Rebels, but I couldn't tell for sure over the rest of the comm chatter. Not that it would have mattered much, since I only know a smattering of German vocabulary. Thanks for the explanation, I'll go give it another try!
