You could use other tools than the paintbrush. But nice.

I didn't use the paint brush, I use the paint bucket. I am workning on the 212th attack battalion while I listen to music.

I would HIGHLY suggest using colorize instead of paint brush or paint bucket, it lets more detail shine through the paint and makes the skin seem more realistic. The scratches and damage look really good for a beginner though.
