installed xsi the other day and so far this is my personal vehicle untextured. my HD crashed along with everything on it so ill be working like mad to create a building. at least i can say i have something now though
If you can't tell its a UFO that will go along with my lot called "Area 15" will get textured ingame picture soon.
@wonderboy-aren't stairs advised against because of collision issues?

Re: The DMI Showcase Thread
The world doesn't end in 6 days. I am thinking of doing away with the claims system after then.
Here's how it'd work: you fill a 60m x 60m space full of objects. Get it ingame and working etc. Send it to me, and I can move it to wherever it fits in the city.
That way there's no need for complicated claims. For those of you interested in a DMI lot, just continue modeling/working on it. Send it to me whenever you are done and I will place it in the world.
After September 5th I will just free up unused claims and make it a free-for-all.

Hehe. It's extremely ironic you guys should mention that because I've been working my butt off trying to get a beta for a lot up. And I really did lose a bunch of sleep on it.

So, can we send in the lots September 5th? I have my final setup, but I don't have the time to get it ingame until Saturday.

I like what you did with the Alliance Starbird... or rather the Marek crest.

Re: The DMI Showcase Thread
the crest is photosource, or whatever, the background is filter/render/cloud + filter/sketch/chrome, the text is just text, aurebesh font

Re: The DMI Showcase Thread
I think I'll do similar, but smaller, signs inside, for the barracks, sickbay, command center/security room, and armory, but should they be in English, Aurebesh or both?
like:
Aurebesh
(English)

Re: The DMI Showcase Thread
For my final lot I'm most likely going to put a giant sign with my name on it all in 3d text. But if everyone doesn't like the English, I can change it.

That sounds pretty good, if you would only ad Aurebesh, very few people would be able to actually have use of them. (which would be a waste of such beatifull made signs)kinetosimpetus wrote:I think I'll do similar, but smaller, signs inside, for the barracks, sickbay, command center/security room, and armory, but should they be in English, Aurebesh or both?
