Hey guys and galls, as you might have seen in the Model Showcase Thread, I made a model of the BT X-42 flamethrower seen on TV in The Clone Wars.

It's not perfect, nor does it have an HD texture with lots of details, but I like it the way it came out.
Only bug I know is that in FP the left hand doesn't match with the handle, bit I can't fix this.

Anyway, pic-time :D

Looks nice, incidentally though there's a floating rock in that screen.

^ By the foot of the AT-TE.

If I every use a flamethrower weapon in any mod again, the model I use will definitely be this one. Great work, Spider!

AQT is right again, gasp spiderpig, what have you done to your pretty map, with that rock not grounded, your whole map looks terrible. :P

I don't see why this is relevant for the weapon release. :P

Anyway, thanks for the positive feedback guys. :)

*insert TF2 Pyro laugh here*

Nice! But does it require a new animation? Looks like it...

use the underhanded chaingun animation, which is a moddified rifle stance.

It actually doesn't require a new one, but with a new it would look better (like with repositioned hands)

And using the udnerhand chaingun anim makes it look goofy because the flames emitters at the level of the unit's head, like one meter up and infront from the weapon.

But that's kinda the same for all animations, right? They all shoot from the head?

Correct. It's not noticeable with the under-hand chaingun because the bullets can't really be seen but with a flamethrower it would be much more noticeable.
