Embedding YouTube Links

I've been thinking about this for a little bit... why can staff only have the ability to embed a youtube link? Because I think it would be a lot better, easier, and less stressful if we, the members, were allowed to embed our own youtube links so as to save you, the staff, from having to do it for us. I mean, why was that never allowed in the first place?
