i have always found editing things for this game to be very difficult but i have manged to make a weapon mod that makes the Assualt class carry a Lambert Carbine and so he has a medical kit with him.

i have personaly loved useing the lambert carbine but when i need a med kit there is none! where as when i use the Bauh H-AR (sp) i love it cause i can get out my med kit. so now i have combined the lambert with the med kit.

i know it isnt to great but its a start of weapon modeling, i am NOT releasing this untill mine and Dragon93s Farscape mod is out but untill then to prove i have done this heres a video:

Youtube is being stupid for me of late so I'll look at it later.

We need to get more tutorials here, for instance Dragon93's reskinning etc... hopefully we'll be able to end up with the equivalent of the SWBF2 "Everything you need thread". If people have got or are able to write tutorials for BF2142 modding then it would be greatly appreciated.

i can do quite a bit of modding, such as the skinning i just cant write a tutorial yet as i dont no if what i am doing is correct, i will put together a mini tutorial in the next couple of days on how to edit the weapons in a kit. i do agree though carbine' it would be very great to have a everything you need thread for 2142. there is only a couple of people here who mod 2142, which is a real upset as it is a very amazing game and can be modded. there are other forums one being: http://bfeditor.org/forums/index.php? which if possible we could get some of the people from them boards to join here.

Hi wazmol, is it alright if i add you on xfire as i want to be able to mod this game but what ever i do crashes the game. i can't even do a simple weapon switch like you have done!
