It's my commemoration of a famous BF1 map that didn't 'officially' make it into it's sequel.

Off-topic : Lord_Grievous, as stated inside the Description associated to this GameToast Section, the Announcements of either Modifications or levels intended to Star Wars : Empire At War may not be tolerated if they were posted there, but as none sub-forum fully dedicated to this use has been inserted so far, I would nevertheless like to remind you not to forget that this topic has been only left as "usable" because you did not have other ways to talk about your own Creations built for this LucasArts Product...

I did state that it was a custom map for EaW, it's not like I claimed that I build Empire at War.

Off-topic : I should have guessed that the Statement I have inserted above might not be that "understandable". Therefore, instead of providing you extended informations regarding the Rules you must follow and respect on GameToast Forums, I would simply advise you to look at this Message-Board's Index Page, in order to read the Description associated to the "EAW Modding" Section, Lord_Grievous...

he's saying you shouldn't have posted that here, because the description for this subform says:

although i dont really see how that's fair, cuz he never mentioned anything about it in this other mod announcement thread: http://www.gametoast.com/index.php?name ... sc&start=0

and i'm not really sure where you should have put it...why aren't we allowed to post mod/map announcements here, lev, and where should we put them?

Off-topic : dreadlordnyax, I have not restricted the posting of such threads inside the "EAW Modding" sub-forum, but I would want them not to be automatically inserted in this GameToast Section as long as there won't be another one fully dedicated to this Objective, which can explain why the current topic has not been either locked or simply removed yet from this Message-Board...

There is no other place for him to put it. If you can, make another topic forum. Besides that, this would logically seem to be the best place to post.

Off-topic : It is not that surprising, valiant, as the whole GameToast Community was originally intended to gather users being experienced in the Modding of Star Wars Battlefront Series' video-games, and even though other LucasArts Products seem to be equally supported on this Message-Board, I would like you not to forget that the Sections dedicated to them are not that consulted, which may explain why the one built for Star Wars Republic Commando is no longer available, for sample...

Off-Topic: Well, it just seems illogical to me that we have a "modding section", but we can't announce mods or submit our own maps.
I don't see anything wrond with either. Its not like this area of the forum is mucked up anyhow. I understand that this site is intended for SWBF and SWBF2, but having such a section and not allow these things seems somewhat illogical (like a planter that says "don't plant any plants here").
This thread is like the ones Emperor Donkey made about his modifications. This isn't a mod announcement, its merely sharing our work, unless thats prohibited as well...
If there's activity in these areas, I don't see harm except for maybe bandwidth issues, but that's about it. We could benefit from a new section...or we may not. There's no other board here "fully dedicated to that Objective".

Off-topic : Well, it seems that I have not be enough "clear" so far, Droid803, and that's why I assume summing up again what I may have already said earlier would be surely welcome. Therefore, all I can say is that the creation of threads similar to this one is not "prohibited" inside the current GameToast Section, but as EmperorDonkey seemed to think that it could allow the gathering of topics referring to specific Star Wars : Empire At War Modifications, I prefer warning other members willing to proceed so not to share their Creations so often, simply because this sub-forum is mainly intended to Modding-related Questions...

Actually, Lev:
A Subsection that compiles all the released maps & mods would be helpful (Just links; no photos), since then, we could choose the maps that we have not downloaded yet, and then not waste much time searching for them! ^_^

Off-topic : Alright, I have recently submitted a Private Message to our great "Jawa Administrator" in order to determine whether the creation of an additional sub-forum being dedicated to threads dealing with Star Wars : Empire At War's user-made Levels and Modifications was really worth a try, and hopefully, this phpBB Section should be made available to the whole GameToast Community in a short while...

How do u ppl get the pic and ranks under ur username and above ur posts joining date etc lol ive been on this website for soo long.......but i never joined........until i lost my EaW disc and am waiting to do something about it

the more posts u make the higher rank you will get, the first rank you will get will be private fooder scooper, go to your profile to select what u want to show, the date, avatars, etc...

Off-topic : I am feeling sorry to trouble the current Conversation, SupremeDarthMonk, but before letting you browse and act as you would eventually wish on GameToast Forums, I would nevertheless want to remind you that inserting irrelevant messages like your above one inside specific threads is way far from being tolerated on this Message-Board, additionally to the posting of replies primarily intended to enhance your local Amount of Posts...

Off-topic : With time, I have unfortunately learnt that forgiving GameToast members having committed a certain Amount of Faults or annoying Acts was surely not the best way intended to make the local Community as much "enjoyable" and "communicative" as in the past, and that's why I would like you not to be that surprised in case your current Account would have been either deactivated or even removed from these Forums' Database...

Leviathan, where should we put our maps in the mean time while we wait for a decision from Guru? From what it says it sounds like we should put them in the modding section, it says "may no beposted" could be a mere typo, possibly meaning "may be posted".

It's okay to add some emphasis on certain words and such, but you...you use about half a dozen different colours, all three varieties like Bold, Italic and Underlined. It's like a font demo for MS Word instead of an intelligible comment. I almost have a seizure from that abominable cacophony you call your posts!
