Empire at War Minimum Specs

For all of you wanting to know if your rig is up to the task:
Hello everyone, as promised here are the min specs for EAW!
Computer: 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible computer
CPU: Intel Pentium III 1.0 GHz or AMD Athlon 1.0 GHz
Operating System: Windows 2000, Windows XP
Ram: 256MB
Graphics Card: 32 MB graphics card with Hardware Transform and Lighting (T&L) capability
Sound Card: 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible, PCI or Onboard Audio Device
Internet: 56kbps or faster connection (required for multiplayer only)
Nothing yet on supported Graphics Cards.

I found this additional information:
Requires 2.5 GB hdd space
Supported video card families:
ATI Radeon 7200/7500, 8500/9000/9200, 9500/9600/9700/9800, X300/X500/X700/X800/X850, X1K
NVIDIA Geforce 256-family, Geforce 2/3/4, GF FX, GF6, GF7
But I don't think that you can really play this game with video cards lower than Radeon 9500/GeForce FX
Perhepas even this is too optimistic.

These are just like Dungeon Seige 2 and Rise of Nations Min. Specs -which i actually run on lan games alot using no hardware video at all , lol. One of the Lan pcs has an on-board 8mb video and runs smoother then Battlefield 2 on my $5000 pc. lol. Min specs are a broad policy to what can run smoothly , but I guess well see when the demo is out.

haha i would give anything to a pc like that...right now in total i have spent $900 around...the initial cost was $570 then i bought a radeon x700 and a 250gb hdd so yea ...im really suprised at how low those min reqyuirements are i mean... wow thats cool!
