personally, nothing short of a computer meltdown's gonna stop me from getting this game (and even that would only be a temporary delay)

I've found an interesting "
Questions & Answers" section on
this web-site...
At least, we know
Empire At War will use *.XML and *.LUA scripts...

I might. I've never played an RTS before, so I'm not too sure... I'm more of a shooter kinda guy. Though, I've seen the trailer, and it looks like a pretty good game... so I'm thinking about it. I'll probably want to try it out first before I buy it though...

I will check reviews, but will probably stick to the Warlords mod for HW2.

Yes, hopefully, I've heard that a "
Galactic Conquest" mode had been added to
Star Wars : Empire At War...

(Moreover, in this mode, you'll be able to chose your faction : Either the Empire or the Rebel Alliance...)

well for me, I loved Westwood's RTS games, command and conquer, Dune 2000, Emperor: Battle for Dune, were all great games. I remember when I wanted to have nothing to do with RTS games, I had bought a sci-fi 3 pack to play blade runner and wing commander. I didn't touch Dune, then one day I was bored, had nothing to play and just popped it in to check it out. The game went on to become the best of those 3. I couldn't believe what I was missing. Since that day I have bought every single RTS made by Westwood, even when EA bought them out. Thank God the ex-Westwood guys left EA to form Petroglyph. I thought we'd never see another great RTS from them again. But they came through and then some not only developing an all new RTS but securing the license to my favorite movies of all time!!! Sure I'll check out the demo but when it comes to these guys, they are the originators of the modern RTS, hands down. And they have a great legacy of games to show for it. I just wish they could do another Dune...........
