SWBF2: One thing, Alec Guiness is not in Ep1-Ep3. I guess something happened while recording James Earl Jones' voice for the game.
Too bad he is now longer on those Version comercials.
Edit: Sry wrong game, I was talking about SWBF2. Ignore the paragraph above.
EAW: James Earl Jones voice in EAW does sound strange. Maybe they didnt use his voice or something happened while recording James Earl Jones' voice for the game.

As far as I can tell, the Voice which have been associated to Darth Vader in almost all Star Wars Movies have undergone a specific Treatment intended to make it even more "deep", "cavernous" and especially "regular", so as to ensure a certain "Personality" to this major Character. Above all, if a Modder working on Star Wars : Empire At War succeeded in extracting the Sound-Files used by the "Dark Lord of the Sith" in this LucasArts, I guess he / she would be able to make them much more "realistic" thanks to a Specialized Software like GoldWave Digital Audio Editor...

Off-topic : This is what might be considered as being a "paradoxical" Statement, General_Grievous_4, but as such thoughts seem to intrigue you, I would you like to remind GameToast members around this thread not to forget that most of the Star Wars video-games released so far would have not been that appreciated by their numerous owners if critic Comments had not been submitted to Development Studios having proceeded to their conceiving, which explains why Star Wars Jedi Knight : Jedi Academy is considered as being even more "enjoyable" than Star Wars Jedi Knight II : Jedi Outcast, for sample...

Off-topic : I am rather glad to notice that the Voices coming from a few legendary Star Wars Characters have been properly restored through a video-game like Star Wars : Empire At War, but I would nevertheless wish to know the exact names of Actors who will lend their respective Voices to Locals evolving on Kashyyyk, once Star Wars - Empire At War : Forces of Corruption will have been publicly released, while hoping their will be different from the one Raven Software associated to Chewbacca in Star Wars Jedi Knight : Jedi Academy... (Indeed, through the Manual shipping with this LucasArts Product, you could learn that the well-known Wookiee had in fact really taken part in the development of this video-game !...)

Off-topic : Petroglyph Games mustn't have indeed a lot of Resources - As partly proven by the fact the Team in charge of Star Wars : Empire At War's Development would have exploited the sixth version of Discreet® 3ds Max® for this video-game Models' designing -, but I nevertheless think that they would have never willed to provide a "Perfectible" content to their numerous Customers, and that's why I would assume that LucasArts must have once again rushed the Release of this Supported Product...

It is not that surprising, geoman777, since Sound Files are probably one of the elements which cannot be that easily detected as "Rushed" in a common video-game. Thus, as sample, LucasArts Products such as Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic or Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II : The Sith Lords have been largely appreciated by their different purchasers, no matter whether Audio Files having been integrated to them could have been mostly revamped, especially when you could hear "Helmet Voices" from either Bastila Shan or Carth Onasi whereas both those two characters weren't wearing any Cranial Protection at all, additionally to the doubtful Quality of Soundtracks exploited by Obsidian Entertainment's Lead Product, amongst other similar findings...
