2007 Christmas Avatar Contest - Voting Cosed (Results p.12)
So... you've filled your bellies with turkey, sat down, watched some football, and then ate some pumpkin pie. Now you go out to go shopping, and what do you see? Stores upon stores bedecked in lights, garlands of tinsel, cherubic sprites, and Silver Bells. O, Tannenbaum! Large trees with glossy bulbs adorn malls, and that same portly, jolly, red-robed old man sits waiting... for when he finally gets to be Coming to Town. Children and adults may be found daily and nightly Rockin' around that Christmas Tree, and it all culmanates in one Silent Night whereupon we celebrate the events of one Little Town in Bethlehem.
One thing's to be said... It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!
---
That means it's time to start GameToast's annual:

Here are the rules:
1) The theme is "A Star Wars Christmas." Entries should be Star Wars-related images or avatars modified to be Christmasy or seasonal.
2) Everyone may make a submission, but only one submission. If you want to change your submission before voting starts, then you're welcome to, as long as you make it clear you're changing your submission.
3) Please submit your entries in a size appropriate for an avatar, that is to say, don't take a picture and blow it up so that you can put lots of little detail into it. It wouldn't be fair to those who are submitting avy's that they're actually planning on using.
4)The contest will open today, November 23 and close on Sunday, December 23, at 12:00 a.m. (I.e. you really only have through Saturday the 22nd).
5) Voting will take place from Sunday, Dec. 23 until the end of the following night, Christmas Eve. Past 11:59 p.m. Dec. 24, no more votes will be tallied.
6) When voting starts, all votes (one per person, obviously) will be sent in a PM to me. I'll tally them and winners will be awarded on Christmas Day.

Here's a link to the freeware programs GIMP and Paint.NET, which are excellent free alternatives to programs like Adobe Photoshop.

Alright, now get crackin' and start making some masterpieces... and have fun!

Re: Second Annual Christmas Avatar Contest Has Begun
I spoke with Maveritchell, and he said that you don't have to be using the avatar you're entering in the Competition. (I am an example of that: I'm using the Link one, but entering the space battle one)

Nope it wasn't me. It was a member who goes by the username of BLASTERMAN.
That being said, credit to the figure in my Avatar goes to BLASTERMAN.
The_Emperor, are you a member over at FBTBforums? I know I am. My username is "Dash Rendar's ship."

Neh, I'm no member, I just check the site every now and then, to see if there's any nice minifigs. Kaminoan is amazing in what he makes, it's great.
Anyway let's not hijack this topic

I always check that site too. Joined the forums but they haven't e-mailed me an activation link.

Mine. And if you can't see what Cortana is holding, it's a present.

Re: Second Annual Christmas Avatar Contest Has Begun
Adjuntant_Reflex and Death_Commando, please remember to not post entries that are larger than avatar size (even if you resize them down later). All entries must be avatar-sized initially so that it's fair for everyone. And Z13, make sure your entry is SW-themed.
