Cdt Fox's Ultimate Republic Side Mod:

Actually I have a little more time to mod so I decided to make my own Republic Side Conversion: (First real mod!)

Since I discovered the clone wars T.V cartoon (and Star wars in general) I always loved the republic and especially the great clone army....So my mod will be on the clone's armada

Like the others swbf 2 famous mods, each classique/original map will support a custom legion from Clone wars, star wars II & III.



CDT'S FOX ULTIMATE REPUBLIC MOD:

-Coruscant: Jedi Temple --> 501st Legion.

-Dagobah: Swamp --> 41st Elite Legion (camo).

-Death Star: Interior --> ? (104th Attack Battalion?)

-Endor: Bunker --> (will be not supported)

-Felucia: Marshland --> 327th Star-Corps.

-Geonosis: Dust Plains --> Plain white, Phase 1.

-Hoth: Echo Base --> (will be not supported)

-Tatooine: Mos Eisley --> 187th Legion.

-Tatooine: Jabba's Palace --> 7th Legion.

-Kamino: Cloning Facility --> Kamino security Guard.

-Kashyyyk: Beachhead --> 41st Elite Legion (camo).

-Mustafar: Refinery --> 63rd Republicain Guard.

-Mygeeto: War-torn City --> 21st Nova Corps.(Galactic Marines)

-Naboo: Theed --> 442nd Siege Battalion.

-Polis Massa: Medical Facility --> 41st Elite Legion (non-camo).

-Tantive IV: Interior --> 5th Fleet Security.

-Utapau: Sinkhole --> 212nd attack Battalion.

-Yavin 4: Temple --> 91st Reconnaissance Corps.

Instead of having jedis for the class hero, I will put all the famous clone commanders such as Marshall Cmdr Cody, Marshall Cmdr Fox, (my favorite one) Marshall Cmdr Bly, and much more

Of course all troopers or classes will have customs weapons with the corresponding amo, such as DC-15A, Z-6 underhand chaigun, DC-17 hand pistol, emps detonators, commando pistol....

The Mod will also support space battles with new improved starfighters and cruisers models!

PS: What do you prefer: A New DC-15A model (like the one in the pics) or oom-9's DC-15s blaster rifle?

EDIT: I also need suggestion for clones commanders/heroes and sorry for my bad english, I'm french.

This looks like a promising Republic Mod to keep checking up on. I have always been a fan of the addition of era mods for sides. Screenshots look really neat as well, keep up the good work Fox!

I like all these units so far, as a suggestion, maybe you could add this character in a blue outfit as well, just to give a little more color to the Clone team. Anakin also made a pretty interesting suggestion of adding in Kaminoans to the Republic as well, that would be neat to see.

@Anakin I was thinging about adding kaminoans in - game for Kamino, but as a new unit in order to be playable. But as a local side I think this is much better! (the only thing is that I never practise this sort of things before ) Thanks for the suggestion man

Already downloaded this morning, anyways thanks for the suggestion I will put the kaminoan like the clones in your R.C mod but I never done that...so what tutorial did you use?

Update: Dagobah Swamp proress

With the awesome release of DEV I decided to remove the legion on dagobah: 41st camo ----> 41st Camo ARF corps...

Maybe you can do something close to the Shadow Troopers since you mention more dark skins for your models. Whatever you want to do, I am for 100% since I love custom sides no matter how much work or how little work people put into it.

Before Deviss released his CWA models, one of my friend (an EAW modder who use only CWA stuff) sent me the skins & models of ARF too. For his ARF models Dev his using the "forest camo" texture and the "camo desert" texture. Finally I've made my own conversion of the models and textures and I think the swamp camo texture is the best!

please tell me that you'll change up the CIS side as well, while I do love that the Clones look awesome so far I always get irked when the CIS gets no adjustments and looks soooo bland in comparision to the Clones, making the player not wanting to switch to the CIS side most of the time.

I'm sorry but just look at the title...it's about republic not CIS...I'll possibly release CIS sides but as an addon to the principal mod ...and sincerly I think this will not happen.
