Hey Guys,
Here's something that some of you requested to release some time ago. (I showed it in the SWBF series modeling thread)

Merr-Sonn Z-6 Rotary Blaster Cannon

I think theres not much to say about it. It's a weapon used in the TCW series by some of the clone troopers (as example "Hevy"). I made it for my map Caron Prime: Liberation Action because there was no other model from this weapon to download. The model is not the best, I think I will give it an update sometimes.
I the pack every files you'll need is included (odf, msh, tga, animation files, etc.)

But I think pictures can say more than tousand words, so here are so screenies:

An heavy assault weapon which is mainly used in STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS.

The pack features:

- The model oft the Z-6 Cannon

- The textures (and a bumpmap which might work, i never tested it out. And because I had never needed it,
it's nothing special and maybe you will have to improve it...)

- The Object Defintion Files for your side (I called it rep because it's a TCW weapon used by the republic)
and for the Common side (the updated com_inf_chaingun parent files)

- The animationset for the weapon called "z6gunner" (munged and unmunged). It works fine, but it's not perfect. Maybe I will give it an update, someday.

- A lasertexture which is used in the odf's.

- Custom sound is coming soon...

You are allowed to edit the textures and all, just give credit if you are using it.

This is fantastic work, and it looks great!
The animations are fantastic and the model looks a lot like how it is in cartoons and what not. :thumbs:

Nice gun, but, it's realy deserv bumpmap (just the black&white tga) or (and) improved alpha channel specularity.
Also, I have to decrease your texture size, in about 8 times, when test it for SWBF1 :lol:

By the way, I wish to try made new animation for SWBF1, and see your gun in action, so, if you have unmunged animation msh files, it's cud be awesome, if you release them too :wink: .

Have not tried it yet but from what I see it is looking excellent.Going to try and use this for something...

Yes, I've never done much work on this bumpmap because there was something other to do which was more needed for my map. But I have already started working on a better bump map some time ago, but I never finished it. And also yes, I used the biggest supported graphics size in Battlefront 2. I wanted to scale it down when I saved the last version, but it seems that I forgot it. :D
And at least, the unmunged .msh Animation files are included, aren't they? :thumbs:
