but deviss rex was nice to upload all of the nessisary files to make it easyer for us that included animations

im confused i have commando pistol odfs not dual pistol odfs


do i put a pistol in primary and another pistol in secondary?

dont worry, the file name is commando pistol but is dualpistols trust me :wink: and not only put it as primary

no im using a republic marine with my custom side


if i was using rex i would have just downloaded him cause he comes with dual pistols


ummm can you upload the left hand stuff now? (5 seconds later) please?

i put darth ducks assets in the right places (that is if im correct and the animations go in munged) but the map crashes

oh... MY... GOD!!!!!!!!!!! INCREDIBLE! making first persons... didnt think that was possible (adding other hand) how did you do that!? you could make first person views for everything, it seems! downloading now! sad it isnt possible to rate, or atleast a poll, since i would have rated it 100000000/10! great! Downloading now.

Um, Yukisuna, you could easily have a first person for any weapon (except melee) so long as the model has a first-person referenced. Indeed, even without a first-person reference, first-person would still work - just that the arms wouldn't be there.

You could experiment by making a custom unit ODF and going into first person - if you have any first person geometry referenced, you'll see one or two arms depending on what weapon you have, as well as the weapon.

How kinetosimpetus made a first-person view for the dual pistols is simple enough to understand: the only "real" first-person player mesh you see is the right arm and hand. The left arm and hand and pistol are part of the same MSH as the right-hand pistol (if you look closely, you'll see that the left arm and hand never bend - that's because they're not animated). That's also why it looks strange when you jump or roll - it looks like your arm comes off.
