Remember how a few days ago Tean' said that almost all of the models Pandemic made have all the stuff they need to make them "movie like"?
Well here is another Golden Example of that.
I shall now unveil.....

Realistic Count Dooku!

This is made possible by RepSharpshooter and his insights into model hexediting.
Kudos for you Rep'!
The Dooku model has the hands, the body, and the head all in seperate mesh groups.
Thus hexediting the head and hands was a snap.

Also notice the lightsaber he's carrying?
A Very nice JKA model made by uhhhhh... George Lucas!!
My thanks though to broken_hope for converting it from the mind of Mr. Lucas into a workable JKA model

Random Fact: 9 hands were chopped off of major lightsaber wielding characters in all 6 of the Star Wars films.
Anakin lost 3 (1 by Dooku, 1 by Obi-Wan and 1 by Luke)
Grevious 2 (Obi-Wan)
Mace 1 (Anakin)
Dooku 2 (Anakin)
Luke 1 (Anakin/Vader)

The 7-Zip Dooku.exe contains:
File Dooku - For Modders the Dooku Side. It contains a slightly altered Dooku skin, Dooku Lightsaber and the new Dooku model.
File DDM - For all the Non-modders the Dooku Demo Map. Place it in your addon folder and play away.

Oh fun. Funny, i was just about to try making texturing my dooku saber. This will save me some trouble. I dont get what is with the dooku model.

Oh wait, i get it. They're addon msh's.

EDIT: WHys it a .exe?

No not addon mesh's. His hands and head are hexedited off.
Because, as you may remember. His hands and head were chopped off in the movie :P
It's an .exe because 7-zip has the best compression and some people don't want to dl the 7-zip program.
So by making it self extracting .7z almost everyone can unzip it.

Yes!!! :runaway:

Someone finally released a proper Dooku saber! It annoyed me to no end when I first played Battlefront II and Dooku didn't have his trademark lightsaber hilt. Great work, dude.

Nice saber concept, but I severely doubt that George Lucas came up with it. Isn't he more into authoring/directing than props?

P.S. Finally, a realistic, decapitated Dooku. Why oh why didn't he out the Emperor as a sith?

Ahhh, good! Yeah, Dooku should have had his own lightsaber in this game. All jedi/sith should. Only Maul is lucky.

Yeah I think that it turned out nicely. :)
I edited the side a little bit for the pic.
Example: the download doesn't have anakin with two sabers in it. I just put him in when I was setting the map up for the PotD
Anyways, go ahead and use the side for whatever you want.

i thought new saber models were unfunctional(due to fact I hardly see any ingame)

If you add the hardpoints for the saber effect and for holding, there's no reason why it shouldn't :?

And how can it be unfunctional if an example of it is what this thread is about?

They are sorta tricky to place though. THey must be at a 45 degree angle towards the Z axis and the fire point must be angled about -45 too or else the blade comes out side ways.
