Didn't trust my eyes when I read that but EA is finally getting serious about market management and stuff AND what fans seem to want. My hopes for Battlefront II (2017) rose a bit:

This would be a good move but a lot of people who paid for it before EA's apparent change of heart regarding Season Passes are going to feel cheated by this. I would be lying if I said I wasn't one of them.

Apparently it'll only be free for a limited amount of time so be sure to get it soon if you're interested.
