Seamless Space/Ground transition

Hey all,

this is a little asset I use in all my bf3: legacy maps: The Space to Ground transition. This one is from Coruscant as seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08G5qbQWPfs

There are three objects at all; place them all at the center of your map. Feel free to remodel/edit the models or to re-texture the textures.

Hidden/Spoiler:
Code: Select all
Credits: Me (El_Fabricio or the_legend) and DarthDio (He made the sky texture)

This is the seamless space/ground transition used in Bf3: Coruscant at its current state (11/07/2017).

Feel free to edit and use this in your map.



Place all .odf's in the centre of your map (Height depends on what you prefer).

Thanks El Fabricio ,for me is a good birthday present.

Is possible add sky domes in a space to ground transition? I mean,the watwerfalls of naboo plains for example,the sky domes give a good effect on the maps

They would need to be added manually into the inner skydome. It's just the raw dome assets, used to have a transition. Here's a good tutorial covering the process on creating these kind of maps: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=33305
