you should use the republic vehicles for the bf3 mod if you want

That "snowspeeder walker" and the clone hovertank would make great KotOR era vehicles since we've never seen them before.

That "snowpeeder walker" looks so funny, while the hovertank is just weird.

Anyway, I've got to give props to the devs for these creative ideas.

Will we be seeing a Acclamator/Venator in the future? I am trying to get the models from the developers of Galaxy in Turmoil, however have had no response. Once we have these (And the other caps) we hopefully will have a fully functional bf3 map.

the venator from star wars kinect is the same one from bf3 i think and you can download the venator from star wars kinect on facepunch

And the port Corra_Ashu once showed us here..was this a ported model from the canceled game? If so shouldn't it be allowed to use since it's from the canceled game? And what we would do would be what the Dev's of the Kinect Game did before. This is what I would think about if the model is really from the canceled game. I am not sure. So please correct me.

I believe he said the base model is the same but the Kinect guys added more detail to the model.

That's something you'd have to ask the admin. As it stands, it would be okay to use the SWBFIII version.

I will be releasing what ships have working uv map other than that there isn't to many that do.

The B1 Assassin Droid i released on page 4 or 5 is the sniper and pretty much all the CIS stuff i released is it.

EDIT:

Here is a list of ships that have working UV maps.

Munificent(with side hanger slots)

Acclamator(with side hanger slots)

Venator(with bottom hanger slot)

Droid Control Ship (with ring hanger slots)

Nebulon-B (with side hanger slots)

Home One (with massive hanger that takes up a huge side of the ship)

Star Destroyer (with bottom hanger slot)

Super Star Destroyer

Death Star 2 ( also has a full on map in side it)

Now here are some that don't work.

Munificent (no side hangers just plain old munificent)

Indeed, I hope someone gets it (the walker) working in bf2. It would work well for torfront.


I imagine that the existing stock ATST or ATRT animations would work for it.

I have added some more things. The entire map is now textured (And animated). There are still bugs, other issues and things I need to figure out yet. I also added proper Ambient Sounds. What do you think about this so far: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YXX71TW-PE8

Thanks. But there is already a great Cato Map in developement: viewtopic.php?f=29&t=30651
It has a similair design like Free Radical's one. Unfortunately there have not been any updates for about 3/4 year :(
