Acryptozoo's Fish Pack

Post by acryptozoo »

well after releasing Yavin
i had all these fish lying around that i made so i put them together in a pack for all to use
in there water based maps :D
basically just some cut out pictures of fish that i got off of SWG wiki
Hidden/Spoiler:
Image
bad picture of all the fish i included
README
Hidden/Spoiler:
This is a small pack of tgas you can use for fish in SWBF2 since the stock ones are boring!
contatins 15 fish, pretty basic

installation:
basic background if you dont know how ot add fish
1. first put all the tgas in your world1 folder
2. open up your ABC.req (replace abc with your map's 3 letter name thorughtout the tut)
and scroll down to this part:
REQN
{
"texture"
"naboo_gumfish" <-----------
"crawlfish" <--------------
"ABC_map"
and add 3 fish names(becasue thats the limit) between texture and abc_map,
then go to the lua or luas
and add this not sure if theres a right place to add it but i add it right before camera stats
-- Fishies
SetNumFishTypes(3)
SetFishType(0,1.1,"faa")
SetFishType(1,0.5,"endor_trout")
SetFishType(2,0.9,"crawlfish")
save and munge and you got fish :D

Credits:
GIMP: for editing the pictures
Wookiepedia/swg_wiki: for the refrece pictures

have fun and dont swim with the fishes
youll drown :(

That's how I solve all my practical problems. ;)

Very nice, acryptozoo. When I was playing SWG, I would put every fish I caught up on the wall of my main house. :D Really brings some good memories of fishing for me from SWG.
