It actually does, v2.0 (well a beta for it at least...) is being worked on currently. I plan to implement Marvel's conversions now, as well as other things.

Wait, does that mean that I'll have 2 of every SWBFI conversion?

No, it'll be essentially a side mod just like any other on a stock SWBFII map, but you'll just have to download Marvel's conversion pack (I'd go ahead and do that anyways, he/she did a good job), you won't have two of each map though.
I'll make a WIP thread when I get a little more actual work done on the mod.

So it won't be an era mod anymore? :(

I liked it that way so that I could have it with other mods. Maybe I'll stick to Rising Conflict 1.0 then... :cry:

You misunderstand, I was explaining that it WILL be an era mod. Well that, and I hope to add new game modes, a few new maps ad some other fun things too.

EDIT: I suppose I understand the confusion, I usually use "side mod" and "era mod" as interchangeable words, meaning basically the same thing. That's probably wrong, but oh well.

Oh I get it. Yea I think of a side mod like "Evolved" or something that breaks online compatibility.

I look forward to this! I love Marvel4's conversions and I think your sides in his maps will be awesome!! I look forward to the next release!

(We completely derailed this thread! Oh well it has to do with Marvel's stuff. ;)

Actually, Battlefront Evolved does NOT break online compatibility because it only changes unit models/animations. You can play with it online just like the unoffical v1.2 patch sides.

I knew the Evolved sides don't break online compatibility, that's why I like them so much! All the new stuff and it works online! :faint:

I meant that I think of a side mod as either something like evolved (visual only) or something that changes weapons etc. and breaks online compatibility. :themoreyouknow: :)
