Hey Guys today i want to ask a question about Visual Munge
I have a new Laptop, its damm fast and it wasnt cheap (so i am sure thats not my laptop whats causing Visual Munge to be so slow). Can someone explain me why it is so slow? It was programmed for very old machines so i expected it to be very fast on new machines
Why is it so slow? And is there a way to make it faster
Greetings

Re: Visual Munge - Slow
yes thats basicly the problem. sorry i wasnt informative enough
i have new models en masse (i dint use any stock model) so trees, playermodels, weapons and all that stuff. its more detailled then the stock models but the computers of today are betrer then the old ones for a model with 4k triangles it tooks 30 minutes. is there a way to "manually" munge the models? (so calling pc_modelmunge myself) ? i'll have a look in the munge.bat. (if i can do it manually i can munge more then one model at one time)
the model i am munging is only those 4k triangles theres already a lowrez included (but no collision mesh, maybe it takes so long because it has to generate a collision mesh)
anyway thanks for support guys

Re: Visual Munge - Slow
When munging unit mshs, a msh.option with -nocollision will significantly reduce munge time.
