XSI exporter - Can anyone shed light on it?

How to create models in XSI and other 3D applications and make them work in Battlefront 1 & 2. Post models, tips for application usage and share anything XSI, 3DMax, SketchUp, etc.

XSI exporter - Can anyone shed light on it?

Does anyone here have the time to go through exporting a model from XSI ?

I have XSI Foundation 4.2, and have followed the Art Design Guide as best I can, but I cannot get XSI to export my model (and it's only a cube, for testing scale! lol ) I have got the cube, the shadowvolume, the collision object etc, but when I run the exporter not a lot seems to happen (though the dialogue box closes) and I don't get a msh output.

Does the plugin only work with Essentials/Advanced?

If anyone is able to help, please reply to this thread and I will give details of what I have done so far; or even better if you know what you are doing and could provide an xsi scene file with a cube set up ready for exporting so that I can look and learn from it.

I have now got the plugin to export a .lock file. Any ideas what this is?
