Battle For Naboo Version 1.1 Now released Updated!

Greetings, couple of us over at -(DW)- clan, namely -(DW)-Big_RIch and -(DW)-Krayt88 have been working on some new maps/content for Battlefront II. We have recently released a new mod map Named Battle for Naboo. This map tries to recreate the auctual battle from EP1 Gungans vs. Cis. Several new features/units have been included in this Version 1 map, here are some of the key features:

New Vehicles:
Rebel Swamp Speeder
Gungan Gianspeeder
Cis Mtt<-- wicked in the final version

New Units:
All Gungans have been included as soldiers(including a wicked gungan sniper)
Amidala's Personal Royal Vanguard
Queen Amidala herself as a playable hero.
A compeletly new, never seen before Droid unit: The BioX Droid Prototype

New Weapons
Mines have been complety redone, removed glow, set higher timer. Bigger Boom!
New droid weapons toxic emitter, radation launcher
Royal Vanguard now has a "sticky" nade launcher..muhahahaha
New gungan weapons: Gungan mortar launcher, gungan emp launcher, much, much more.

BTW it very satisfing to see the gungans fly 50+' from the MTT guns.

Update: Added another fambaa, with gungans spawning under the shield and upped the droidx health to 600.

nice map
but you should make the sheild bigger,and all the gungans spawn in the sheild

Well the reason we went with this setup for the fambaa is because the fambaa does not work in multiplayer. We originally had two fambaa's on the hills with gungans spawning their. But choise to move the fambaa back and only include one. Simply because it looks silly with the creature there and no fambaa in MP.

Map is good, but have many glitches:

1st. MTT weapon and Gian speeder don`t normal working.
2nd. Fambaa shield isn`t shield object...
3rd. Other bugs

ok cool, please eleborate on those things.
1. I/we edited both the MTT and gian to fit how we thought the map/balance should be.
2. Fambaa is a shield object/shield effect. It is destroyable. I really don't know what ya mean by not a shield object
3. please post the other bugs. I thought the map was tested throughly and all the bugs caught! But please post em so I can fix 'em.

I think it's pointless if there's a shei;d that's not sheilding anything. So could you maybe out the gungans underneath it and add some more sheilds like you originally had it. why is it so bad to not have the fambaa? I don't think it would look that silly. Plus the biox has no health. hes kinda underpowered for officer class.

Love the new sticky grenade launcher. I can't get enough of ramping it all the way up and launching one onto an unsuspecting droid just to watch him run around knowing he's gonna die at any moment. Even better when he runs to his buddies and gets them as well!

Although, I totally want to go into the naboo city you setup in the background and fight in there. :)

I also agree with Tuskenjedi, that the shield should be shielding something. Maybe a Gungan CP, maybe turrets (some of those tall ones would be cool) But, I know the feeling when you think you're done with a map and get feedback saying 'change this thing it took you hours to figure out'

One thing I see is a quick fix - When you kill an enemy it shows up on two lines. Just run editlocalize and remove the 'enters' after all the gungan names.

believe it or not he has the same health as a magna guard. But that can be upped
I can deff put in the other fambaa with the gungans spawning underneth them. Like the original

The game freezes up when I try to switch the primary weapon. If it matters, I have both the award pistol and rifle.

Because I think I took all the award stuff out of the odf's. In retrospec I should of left them in. Orignally it was slated as a multiplayer map. But I now see the error of my ways and I will return the award stuff in the next release.
