Palancar Beta v0.5 Released!

This is the v0.5 of Palancar Suppression. There are still things left to do, but there arn't major bugs at the moment.

I also want everyone to criticize the map, with everything wrong, since that is pretty much the only way to make it perfect


-Story-

CW- During the Clone Wars, the uncharted planet of Palancar was home to a Separitist facility. The Republic had to attack from the surface because of the thick dust surrounding the atmosphere made it difficult for orbital attack. General Obi-Wan and Anakin Skywalker led the assault against the droid armies and the elusive General Grievous.

GCW- As the battle of Hoth was about to take place an army of Rebel forces tried to draw away the Imperial fleet long enough to give their mates enough time to escape. The Rebels underestimated the Imperials size which resulted in the battle of Hoth taking place and also a Star Destroyer being sent to the Rebel Outpost of Palancar.

-Features-

Conquest--- 150 soldiers on battlefield for each side, 2 ATTEs, 2 Barc Speeders, 5 Arc-170, 4-5 Droid Starfighters, Staps, IFT Fightertanks, AATs and a MAF.

2 Flag CTF-In Swamp/grass area

Hero Assault-In Swamp/grass area

Missing Vehicle Sounds

Balancing, Republic wins easily, due to
Cis forces standing still at a cp (pic 2)

A problem with trying to make the heroes on the field (I know there was
a topic about how to do this but where?)

The water's reflection isn't rendered?

Thank you Barney. The next version I will replace the MAF with the droid gunship, and I don't really know what else becuase of the small amount of feedback. I will definetly have to check on sound too

Don't just replace - the space vehicles need tweaking for use on ground maps (in my opinion). Slowing them down (and especially changing the weapons for the CIS Gunship) are very good things to do. I would know, because I made an altered CIS Gunship, and while it sucked in the default space maps, it owns now, and is so much fun to play on land maps. Sorry for not having any other feedback, but I'm currently downloading, and will not be able to play until tomorrow or later.

Jango, you're right. I should make a new gunship, they really need to be able to turn alot faster. I hate how slow they turn
