I downloaded the v1.3 Patch (Revision 25), Backed up my old Shell, Common and Ingame.lvl's and then put in the new ones (Including the v1.3 Patch Strings) and now when I go into SWBF2 all my downloaded maps (Not including the Convo Pack) have all their modes but Conquest. I have the 1.2 Patch, Convo Pack and loads of mod maps in my SWBF2 game. Did I do something incorrectly?

Run your game through bf2_modtools.exe. When you get to the map selection screen, double click on some of the maps that are missing their Conquest mode. Post your debug log.

I've added a FC description area, but I'm having problems getting it to align correctly in both bf2_modtools.exe and the retail game. My first attempt at adding in the v1.2 hud sort-of failed:

Oh sorry I just realized that those maps are meant to have only Conquest, Boy do I feel stupid right now. Sorry about that.

New Release Updates (r36):
    Increased displayed elements in the MP era and game mode filter lists
    Added key controls (FC list and FreeCam) to the readme
    Added 'Print Global' FakeConsole commands
    Included the Add A Preview Video doc
    Fixed MP map filter crashing bug
    Added FakeConsole descriptions
    Added BFX era icons
    Added v1.2's units
    Added v1.2's hud
    Updated X era

Sadly, my school's server doesn't have enough space for me to host the side updates or upload the source code. When I get my home server running, I'm host them (have kept it offline to save power costs and reduce inside heat).

I still need more game mode and era icons. Look at the MP filter lists to see which icons are missing or should be updated. If you want to do translations, the source for that is being hosted in the same folder as the patch.

I know all the FakeConsole bonus command's don't have descriptions yet. I've been being too lazy to write them (have to find the game manual too). Overall progress wise, I'm a week behind where I was expecting to be (but most of it is finished).

All icons look great other than Hunt and the Elimination Icons being darker than all the rest, any chance on brightening them up? Could you add all the SWBF Conversion Pack maps to the Multiplayer list? Probably not really needed but it would fit in with the rest of the changes (modes and eras) and can you make an ingame.lvl with the FC mod and V 1.2 with the default hud? I like the new hud but when it comes to playing in MP it gets kinda hard to see. If nobody wants to go through the bother of looking in-game for the icons needed below is a list of what is needed.

Yeah I'm honestly really not fond of that hud. It's rather odd looking and takes up way too much view. And the unlimited ammunition FC command doesn't seem to work.

A couple quick fixes:

-Classic Conquest is still localized as "Battlefront 1". Since everyone knows it as Classic Conquest I'd like to keep it that way.
-Hero Assault and Space Assault are both simply localized as "Assault". The original plan was to have them localized separately as "Space Assault" and "Hero Assault" to avoid confusion. Sorry if I wasn't clear on that.

I don't think I can automatically generate the MP map filter list, but I'll look into it. I won't just add the pack maps to it, because just because you have the v1.3 patch installed doesn't mean you have the SWBF1 pack too.

Thanks for making a needed icons list. Once I get my home server running I'll put the source map online and instructions on how to use it. You will be able to create your own v1.3 without the hud (However, you will have to install Bazaar. Ant would be good too, but not required). I don't know if I'll have time to make seperate development releases without the hud, but the final release will have the option to remove the hud and/or the custom units. Expect the server to be up by the end of this week.

The 'remove point limits' should be in there unless I forgot to copy it over... If you remember the FC Mod, it had Unlimited Ammo W1, Unlimited Ammo W2, etc... Instead of eight different ammo commands, the v1.3 patch uses the prompt to ask the user for which weapon slot should get unlimited ammo. So click the command, enter the number of the weapon slot you want to have unlimited ammo (slots 1 through 8), then press enter (and maybe respawn).

I'll look into all those other things too. Thanks for finding them.

Ok, then I made a typo somewhere with that command. It will be fixed in the next release, as well as just about everything else mentioned so far.

For those wondering what the possible functions are and what you can access from a lua, check out the Print commands under [Information].

i think you did forget to add the remove point limits command, i just checked and its missing... and i cant wait till the infinite ammo command gets fixed...
i have to say the 1.3 patch, you and Rep did a better job than pandemic ever could have done....
