I'll look into the bad ingame.lvl tonight. Everyone else have that problem?

I think it's actually great if your a clone trooper or stormtrooper, but the other units... not so much

I think the maximum number of game modes supported is 500, not 499.

I fixed all those things and added support for modders to get the names of the ingame players. I also changed the downloads to 7z's self-extracting exe files. Revision 117 Filefront links are pending...

Quick Installation Steps:
1) Download the Full (w/custom sides) or the Lite (w/o custom sides) version
2) Double-click the exe and extract to <swbf2 folder>\addon\AAA-v1.3patch\
3) Double-click on the extracted menu.bat or lite-menu.bat

I'm sorry if I should know this, but I'm just asking for confirmation... with the convo pack installed, all I have to do is run menu.bat from star wars battlefront II/gamedata/v1.3patch, follow the instructions to uninstall, then run menu.bat from r117 and follow the instructions to install? Sorry, but just want confirmation before I inevitably do something stupid. :oops: Thank you.

Correct, but you have to extract r117 to the addon folder: <swbf2 folder>\addon\AAA-v1.3patch\

I make a folder called "AAA-v1.3patch"? thank you so much for clearing this up for me.


EDIT: Also, does it make a difference if I'm running Vista?

It will make a difference if you run into any installation problems, but you still install it the same way.

Oops, I missspelled GameData as GamaData in some of the bat files' error messages :oops:

Oops, the archive doesn't include that file. I've replaced the Lite download with the corrected archive. Everyone who has already downloaded the Lite version will need to redownload it. The file names for both versions are the same. The Lite exe should be 5.69MB. The Full version was fine.

You could also directly download xdelta.exe from the online source. It goes in the same folder as menu.bat: http://zerted3.getmyip.com:8585/src/bzr ... xdelta.exe

I hope Filefront didn't grab the bad archive...

Just tried the latest full version. Installed.txt shouldn't be inside the settings folder in the full versions archive that's downloaded. Causes the batch to think 1.3 is already installed when it's not.

Both versions: Remove award effects in the batch doesn't effect campaign and galactic conquest.

Edit: Scout class fighters in full version have very wild/dizzying fov.

Installation is the same with or without the Conversion Pack. Remove any old v1.3 patch, run the downloaded exe, extract to the addon\AAA-v1.3patch folder, run menu.bat, press 1 to install when you're at the main menu (even if you don't see that option).

I will fix that Install.txt and host a new .exe (you will see the date change on the online file). Theres no reason to re-download it. Just delete that text file before you first run menu.bat or press 1 to install the patch when you get to the option screen.

The Campaign and Galactic Conquest maps are meta games. They are run in the shell and aren't started like the normal maps. The award effects are removed when you enter the team select screen, but that never happens with meta games. You should still be able to use the FakeConsole command or a custom user_script to remove them.

Edit: Has it always been that way or did the FOV change?

In what exact way do you mean always? If you are referring to older versions of the full pack I never tried a scout class fighter before in one since I mostly have been toying around with lite version until now. It's just fov is quite stretchy beyond what it normally would be while in a scout class fighter in any case. Either extremely low or high.

Yes and me too. If you can see too much, then the FOV is too high. A low FOV is similar to zomming in.

I'm not sure if this is hardcoded and/or if you want suggestions, but is it possible to allow landing outside landing regions?
