My question concerns outside the bridge cities. Will there be solid ground outside the cities or is it just a bottomless drop? Hope I made it comprehensible.

Yeah, but the performance will be worse, the game will lag.
Increasing the FogRange setting is unlikely to cause performance issues. All it does is tint the part of the scene that is a certain distance from the camera. On the other hand, the NearSceneRange and FarSceneRange settings are the ones to really pay attention to. They can totally ruin the framerate and look of the map if not setup properly.

I don't know if someone posted that (I skipped P 1) I have 2 requests

1- please add the star fighter of BFI,I don't really care of it's texture,but I'd prefer the original obi-wan's texture

2- please add a space assault mod,space-ground maps are bad for using conquest mod and not even adding bombers!
can't wait for your map :thumbs: well,maybe I can wait till the holiday :)

I second that. That's pretty much the only complaint I ever have with Space/Sky-to-Ground maps.

GCW Update

I started working on the GCW sides, and it's going to have a huge TFU feel, taking place in the early days of the Rebel Alliance before the events of the original trilogy.

Obviously there is a lot more work to be done and a lot more pictures of that work to come! Be patient with this, as its probably going to be a while before this map will be released.

I feel XL would be good if this map was more based around the dogfighting aspect of it, but this map emphasizes the infantry conquest aspect a great deal, and i feel conquest would fit this map the best.

Bottomless drop. there is a thin cloud layer below, but you cant reach it without dying.

Maybe you could ask Mav to use his model, or to get a premunged version of his kota (the way we got Kit from the convo pack, before the release the last days).

My model (if - marginally - a little more accurate) isn't substantially better. However, I've made instructions for adding Dark Times units very available - that should never be an issue for anyone.

Are we allowed to use Dark Times unit stuff? Like, could I load the model of Rham Kota, but give him new weapons and such, if we give credit? I have done it before with the KotOR mod, but I don't want to release anything by doing that method.

I haven't gotten the cloth to work on dev's Kota so thats why it looks a little funky. I do like Mav's Kota a lot better, but I'm not sure if i'd want the dark times hero combo set up (you cant block with your lightsaber).
I'm considering having Starkiller/Galen as the hero. I added the model Anakin released but it was too high quality for a map this huge and made the game lag a ton. So maybe i'll try the one in the Bfx assets.
