Local Wars Mod (V1 Released!)

This will be a mission mod that changes the stock missions. I will add native units as selectable classes in Conquest, CTF and XL mode. The new classes are as follows:
  • Map-Class-Faction

    Coruscant-Jedi Knights-Republic/Rebels (Conquest Only)

    Coruscant-Temple Guards-Republic/Rebels (CTF Only)

    Endor-Ewoks-Rebels*

    Geonosis-Geonosians-CIS*

    Jabba's Palace-Gamorian(sp) Guards-All Sides*

    Kashyyyk-Wookies-Republic/Rebels*

    Mos Eisley-Jawas-All Sides*

    Naboo-Naboo Guards-Republic/Rebels
*Might be online compatible

Possible Classes:
  • Geonosis-Jedi Knights-Geonosis

    Hoth-Probe Droids-Empire

    Death Star, Rends Coruscant-Royal Guards-Empire

    Yavin 4-Sith Lords-CIS/Empire

    Mustafar-Geonosians/Gizor Deslo-CIS

    Bespin-Bespin Cops-Republic/Rebels
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.


Known Issues:
The Jedi Crash for some reason.

Since Jawas and Gamorians are "Neutral" I made them available to all sides, while I did change the unit count to "0,1", the AI might still spawn as them, which may make it difficult to tell friend from foe.

What needs to be done:
Fix the Jedi problem.
I need someone to test this online for me and see if some of the missions are compatible. I'd do this myself but i'm having connection issues.

Indeed. Especially on Mos Eisley MP, it'll be Jawa-geddon! :funny2:

Update: Try as I might, it seems the game crashes whenever I add Jedi to the Republic/Rebels side, does anyone know what might be the problem?

run your mod in the bf2_modtools.exe, play your map, and post the bf2log that is generated from the crash. If your bf2log is not in your noraml gamedata folder it would be found here

Users\"yourusername"\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\

Update

I had began working on this again after a while, I have fixed the above problems, the Jedi problem was that there was too much animation data, so I gave them all Luke's animations, and now I am close to releasing the first version.

But before I do that, I need some volunteers to beta-test some missions that I think will be online compatible, because they won't be loading anything that wasn't already there, this will be a separate option than the main mod, but will conveniently be in the same download. Anyone who can help please reply to this thread and I will PM you the file. I need you to test it in both server-side and client-side. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to beta-test.

(Sorry for the bump, but this is an important update that I want people to see)

Now this looks like something worth beta testing! I would like to beta test these sides since I love new sides and new Eras.
