BF2_Modtools problem, terrain heightfield missing? [Solved]

So i've come across this problem im having with a certain map and the Bf2_Modtools.exe that is keeping me from solving a multitude of other problems with said map.

When i try to run my map in the Bf2_modtools it will load, but from that point on the frame rate is slower then you could imagine. Like one frame every 15 seconds. too slow to actually get anywhere trying to test it.

So i open up the Bfront2 error log and it seems normal up until it keeps repeating this strange severity 2 error ive never seen before.

I am using the BF2_Modtools_NoDVD version.
The map works in the same program when you play a map before it, but then you dont get the Error log for it.
The map used to work fine in the Modtools. The only thing truly different that ive added to map was adding self-piloted flyers which ive never done beforehand. I dont think thats what is causing this though.

Did you do something to the terrain? Also were those memorypool messages there before? (Just to know those aren't causing it.)
Try to remove the self-piloted flyers and/or do a manual clean, and see what happens.

I had this issue with the Prothean Skyway. Is you terrain disabled via Zero Editor? Is a texture applied to the terrain?

Well i tried removing the self piloted flyers and did a full manual clean and that didnt work.
The memorypool errors before the terrain thing have never caused a map to crash on me or do what its doing in the Bf2_modtools, except i've never had this one pop up:

the terrain is disabled because it was made from the space map template, and i never added any.

Just out of curiosity, does you world file (.wld) have a TerrainName parameter in it? If so, try removing it. I don't if it works but could be worth a try.

Sorry im a bit late on following up on this, but yes it did. I took the parameter out and munged but it still doesn't work.

EDIT: Turns out this was all caused by an error i made in one of my unit odfs. I was referencing two different meshes and didnt have an AISizeType :lol:
