How to open .lvl files and edit them.

Postby FlamingLlama » Thu Jul 04, 2019 12:19 pm

So, I recently modded out my SWBF II, and one of the mods I used was Project Evolve, which retextures all the units. However, the reb.lvl file has an issue where when playing as the republic engineer or standard trooper, the hud icon usually in the bottem left corner of the screen showing which weapon is active is in the middle of the screen. Once you switch to the laser pistol, the laser pistol icon is in the right place, and strangely enough only the clone engineers scatter cannon and the standard blaster rifle have this issue. This issue is not present in any of the other files. So, how would I be able to open the reb.lvl file, and edit where the icon is on the HUD? Is that even possible?

LVL files are binary files, so no they can't be edited via traditional means.

Do you have the unofficial 1.3 patch installed? That should fix any floating icon issues.
