Helmets as addon meshes?

I was curious if anyone has released helmets that can be used as addon meshes. For example, say I had a headless unit and wanted to stick on a helmet. Couldn't I use this msh as an addon, attach to bone_head, and boom? Seems like this may be a very easy way for modders to customize their models.

There's some in Sereja's assets, including Rebel Soldier (Fleet), Imperial Navy Trooper and ARF Trooper helmets.

It's totally possible. Neomarz1 created a bunch of female models for Jedi Academy, but they all started with a base bald head. So when we converted them for the Conversion Pack we just made the hair a separate thing so we could change it out. Check the Convo Pack assets and look at Mara Jade and Luminara.

This is really helpful. I'm just surprised this hasn't really been used much in the past. Is it possible to have more than 1 addon mesh at a time?

Rebel and Imperial helmets are in the Nar Shaddaa assets, ARF Trooper and Umbaran Militia helmets in the Umbara assets. I'm pretty sure there's others, but I don't know where there they are. But all his side stuff is in the big packs.
