Is it possible to further increase the LOD distance?

So I was curious if there is any way to have a greater lod distance, than the maximum provided by the options menu. Does anybody know if this is possible? Either by the use of a mod, or adding some lines into a config file, or whatnot. I find it really distracting to have grass growing at a visible distance. I know for sure my PC can handle it, if there is indeed a way to do so. Anyways thanks for any help in advance!

If fading grass is your only concern, foliage has its own fade in/out property in the prp file. I suppose its possible to change this in the world's lvl file through hex editing but i've never done it, you would search for prp_
