Yep! I made all sorts of new zombie types, and I plan on adding more eventually. The tank is probably my favorite (not seen in the pictures); it emulates the charger from L4D2 by charging for a set amount of time once the player gets in its range. When it charges, it can continuously hit people and steamroll them. You might get lucky and only get hit a little bit, or you could be crushed and go from full health to dead. I think it's fun!

I know. I often promised it but...I always broke it. I am a bad guy. I am much worse than Darth Vader. And I apologize but I am just so happy that I got this vehicle working without any problems.
This is a new, free invented rebel transport ship. It has heavy weapons and a remoteable turret (Similar to the Y-Wing Turret). I still need to add some more seats for more rebel units.

Very nice looking. Maybe you can improve the textures a bit.

You mean me? :D

It's actually on medium settings and that's because my computer won't allow lighting to be set to high or it almost invariably crashes to desktop on maps that include terrain.

But it's Tatooine: Mos Nytram, just heavily updated, and I'm using it for testing new sides (and balancing).

Here's a little pet project of mine: Ever since the release of the first EA SWBF trailer, I was inspired to give the stock Endor a makeover, which I honestly think looks very awful with not the very best game play. Below are some screenshots comparing the old and new maps:

The plan is to give all stock maps, possibly the stock SWBF1 maps as well, the same treatment (i.e. visual upgrade and fix any game play issues). :faint:
You really need to tell how you manage to make higher resolution versions of a stock textures.

For the majority of the textures, I just used a higher resolution version (found via Google Images by simply searching for grass texture, dirt texture, rock texture, tree bark texture, etc.) that somewhat resembles the stock texture I'm trying to completely replace. Those new textures, of course, were further edited for cohesion purposes, not just used as found. One texture that I had to remake somewhat from scratch because it cannot simply be searched for is the texture used the Ewok platforms.

Yep - CGTextures.com is another great resource for high-quality seamless textures, too. ;)

And for HD (30000x18000 px) sky textures: CGskies.

EDIT: Here's something I was working during the past days:

Thaks guys.
There's going to be more. The name of the map is: Tatooine at War. There will be Mos Eisley, the great deserts of Tatooine, Jabba's Palace (Interoir and Exterior), the tusken camp, a large canyon and more. Only era will be GCW. At the moment everythin works fine. I still need to improve the camp and the canyon and need to add Mos Eisley Spaceport.
Ah and by the way. Many new modes (based on some Dice's Battlefront) will be included like Wave and Destroy the target (with flyers).
AQT wrote:Looking great so far, Legend!
Thank you very much.

Edit: Now there are more props and buildings, Mos Eisley and some more places:

If you were able to lose the baked terrain shadow from the homestead (?) part it'd blend a lot better with the terrain.

I agree with Eaol regarding the homestead pit. Everything looks like they're coming together really nicely. I'm really digging the sail barge garage!
