Function of "SetmemoryPool("Aimer", XXX)"

I'm just wondering what the function of the following LUA line is:

SetmemoryPool("Aimer", 300)
Does it have anything to do with weapons behaviour? Do I, for instance, need to set it higher if there are more weapons/weapons effects on the map than usual (IE like in Bespin Platforms)?

I have a feeling it has something to do with the AI "aimbot" mechanic (basically the way the game makes the AI aim I guess lel).

I have noticed it doesn't appear in certain maps that don't have vehicles (Kamino: Tipoca City, Rhen Var: Harbor and Bespin: Cloud City). They seem to be prevalent on maps that have flyer vehicles.
